With the rapid development of wireless network technology, people want to quickly get the network information resources; wireless network(WLAN) is often the only city broadband resources, but rural users often can not enjoy the convenience brought by the wireless network. So how to make the rural users to enjoy the benefits of wireless network, has become one of the urgent problems need to be solved, but also conform to the trend of the development of new forms of "Internet +".In the smaller, more remote rural areas, the wireless network is relative to the wired network more flexible, low construction cost, simple network maintenance, but also help to speed up construction of rural broadband and spread, so that the majority of rural users faster and earlier access to the wireless network bring information resources. The tower uses the existing Township Center, rural areas macro base station and wired data transmission with other sets of resources, to solve the WLAN network system data transmission cable side and station location problem. Because the users in rural areas live in scattered, outdoor type AP base station distance is far, sometimes even can reach three thousand meters, so the outdoor type CPE(Customer Provided Equipment) is adopted in the construction of wireless network in rural areas.This paper presents a wireless network is reasonable in the process of the construction of broadband networks in rural in the solution, and the realization of the program. Discussed the loss factor of WLAN network signal in free space; secondly, a detailed statement of the calculation of the user terminal receives the signal strength and link margin; the final analysis was affected by different obstacles in the process of data transmission, covering different signal attenuation, outdoor AP and signal receiving end cover as less as possible, which can increase the transmission distance of the signal and improve the quality of signal transmission, how to avoid the maximum one of the key factors of occlusion is a long distance rural deployment of WLAN system.According to the actual network project of Henan mobile WLAN network deployment in rural areas in a city as an example, the main content and process are introduced in detail the deployment of long distance rural WLAN network system: how to design a reasonable network architecture, according to the user’s Internet habits should use what kind of authentication, how to calculate AP number of outdoor type, how to to optimize the WLAN network system. Finally, how to scientific and rational deployment of rural middle and long distance WLAN system.
