With the rapidly development of the Internet and the constant emergence of various high-bandwidth services, the broadband fiber access network techniques appear to be increasingly important, especially the passive optical network (PON) technology. At present, the popular PON techniques include the traditional TDM-PON technique, the lately proposed techniques which are WDM-PON and OCDMA-PON. By contrast, the limitation of the two former bearer services is broken by the OCDMA-PON technique, OCDMA-PON provides an excellent network security, it can be simple, general and efficient to transmit all kinds of services, and easy to implement large-capacity flexible user access. Thus it is regarded as one of the best selections for the Next-Generation PON. To provide a suitable network management system is particularly important to ensure that the operation of OCDMA-PON network is stable, efficient and accurate. Therefore, the research and design of the OCDMA-PON network management system has great practical significance. The main work and achievements of this paper are as follows:1. The OCDMA-PON network management architecture which based on Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) and ONU Management Control Interface (OMCI) Protocol is used in this paper, and the structure of the network management system of the OCDMA-PON and the process of interactive communication of Management Station and OLT、OLT and ONU have been analyzed.2. On the basis of introducing the Protocol of SNMP and OMCI, the OCDMA-PON network management module diagram is designed, and the various functional modules in OLT and ONU are focused to be analyzed and researched. Then, a software and hardware platform which takes the ARM management and control module as principle thing is established in this paper, which takes the OCDMA technique as the principle and bases on the research of the various functional modules and embedded Linux system.3. The information interaction of Management Station and OLT、OLT and ONU and the protocol conversion module are achieved on the established development platform which based on S3C6410:the principle of the SNMP protocols and GPON Standard are used to realize information interaction based on Management Station and OLT, the custom OCDMA-PON MIB is designed and the extension and transplantation of SNMP agent are realized by using the NET-SNMP development kit; Based on the shared memory technique in Linux, the communication between SNMP agent and OMCI subagent is realized by sharing the data of the custom OCDMA-PON MIB; The data table of OMCI MIB is designed by utilizing the data structure of OMCI information; Based on requirements of the MIB such as fast speed, simple data structure and small occupancy resources, the communication interface of database is realized through using the SQLite embedded database; Based on the principle of OMCI protocol to realize information interaction between OLT and ONU, the encoding/decoding module and frame processing module of OMCI frame are designed and realized by using the C programming language, which takes the operations of "Get" and "Set" as principle thing. Finally, a design scheme of WEB management station that based on SNMP Protocol is presented according to the functional requirement of Network Management Station.In this paper, the realization method of network device information exchange and the scheme of WEB management station have important theoretical and practical significance to realize OCDMA-PON network management system.
