Osteoporosis is a degenerative disease with high incidence and hazardous. The accurate determination of the bone mineral density is the premise of the prevention and treatment of osteoporosis, and it is the gold standard in the diagnosis of osteoporosis. The early bone screening equipment has the problem of carrying and interface simplification. In order to solve the problem, the paper carried out the research of the ultrasound bone densitometer. The details are as follows:1.The transplant and implement of the core algorithm based on the android platformBased on the comparison and analysis of commonly used software noise reduction algorithms, the paper designed a improved method of noise reduction to process the signal from slave computer; uses the Blackman window function to intercept signal acquisition and the based -2 FFT algorithm to transform the time domain signal to frequency domain. The system uses the average value of five measurements as the final result to reduce the error influence caused by accident.2.The design and realization of the software of ultrasound bone densitometer based on the android platform.The system of host computer is Android. For the beautiful interface and excellent human-computer interaction based on Android platform, the paper designed several sets of UI interface for different resolution, and uses multithreading to collect and process the data from slave computer, JDBC+WIFI to exchange data with the remote database.3.The effectiveness verification of the systemTo compare with the ultrasound bone densitometer(SONOST-2000) made by Korea, the paper got a result that correlation coefficient is 0.874 and the value of p is less than 0.01 based on correlation analysis, so the system is highly significant correlation with the SONOST-2000,reached the level of similar equipment.The system adopts integrated design in the design. The most bone densitometer in the market can not be divorced from the PC and this caused the portability problems. The design is a good solution to the problem. The system used Android system as the platform, it not only solves the interface simplification on traditional embedded platforms, but also enhance the user’s operating experience by touch operation. In addition, most of the system components can be achieved domestically, so it reduced the cost of the equipment, and maintenance becomes more convenient. Therefore, this paper achieved a rapid, noninvasive, portable, accurate measurement of bone mineral density, and it can provide equipment support for the popularization of ultrasonic bone density detection and prevention of osteoporosis.
