With the rapid development of modern science and technology, non-contact distance measurement technology research and application is also increasing. Infrared technology is the measured phase ranging target launch an infrared signal, and then accept the goal of the reflected light signal, by measuring the optical signal from the elapsed time to calculate the target distance. Based on the principle of infrared distance measuring system and method of analysis, the phase method proposed by using distance methods. This paper presents a distance measuring optical system, which mainly composed of optical systems, infrared transmission systems, infrared receiver, infrared signal processing system, phase detection and logic control components. It uses high-performance 8-bit microcontroller 8751 for the micro-controller, while using the new high-performance optoelectronic devices and integrated circuits, the circuit is simple, stable and reliable performance.In order to reduce the phase measurement error, made by expanding the phase angle of inspection design ideas, reduced because of large and small angle and phase fitter caused by the phase measurement error and increase the ranging accuracy. Compare with others,it has the distance of its high precision, small size, light weight, portable, anti-interference ability, the advantages of no harm to human body.
