With the development of industrial automation technology and laser measurement technology, measurement accuracy, valid measuring distance and automation degree have become increasingly demanding in liquid level measuring area. Volume of laser diode and its cost is descending due to the development of laser component manufacturing technique. Meanwhile the stability of laser diode is enhanced. Thus makes it possible for us to design a laser distance measuring device that is small, stable and precise. The designed laser liquid level range detector is equipped with a wireless transmitting module. Laser liquid level detector is capable of functions as follows:remote wireless control, data processing, automatic alarm. System performance is improved by applying automation data acquisition, data monitoring and data management technique. Those improvements have significant influences on industrial safety and increasing production efficiency.Theories of low noise amplify circuit, low pass filter circuit, power management circuit, frequency mixing circuit, laser modulation drive circuit, APD high voltage drive circuit, double ADC sampling circuit have been studied thoroughly. A new type of laser liquid level device is realized by applying the STM32F103core control chip of ARM-CortexM3series. Peripheral equipment of STM32F103such as: general I/O, general timer, USART, DMA controller, ADC have been utilized in this device. Compared with traditional level detector the new type laser liquid level device performs better in detection accuracy and detection range while it’s smaller and cheaper. Remote controlling of the new laser liquid level detector is realized by adopting433MHz wireless communication module and control center monitoring software. Experiment results show that the new detector perform well and meets the design requirements. |
