With the reform of university logistics are expanding in recent years, the foods served by canteens quantity and composition are more rich variety. Meanwhile the responsibility of university logistics department are increased, procurement and cost management are more difficulty then before.For effective control of food raw material costs and improve the efficiency of work, food colleges and universities logistics information management system was designed and developed in this paper, the common problems was to be solved.In this paper, through the use of the basic theory of logistics information during the process of software development, the background and development process are described in detail. The goal of the paper is describe how to us object-oriented method to develop a colleges and universities food logistics management system, and turn from traditional manual management to the refine and automation management.The system setup under the campus network environment, it is a part of digitalizing campus management system. The users of the system are come from the purchasing departments, factory of food processing and canteens. System consists of five different subsystems, there are purchasing subsystem, canteen subsystem, processing factory subsystem, cost evaluation management subsystem and statistics and inquiries for manager subsystem. The main function is to achieve flow control and statistics accounting for all raw materials and finished goods.
