Comparative Study Of Financial TV Talk Shows

Modern society and people’s lives close to economy in an unprecedented pace with China’s market economy developing. "Political society" to "economic society", "political man" to "economic man", these two trends give birth to a number of financial programs. Focus on financial topic, financial talk shows play an important role in the TV media. From CCTV to local TV that most stations are participate in the competition of financial programs. Intense competition lead to the homogenization of such programs, but also makes "Dialogue" and "Finance and Economics--Lang Yan" achievement.As successful financial TV talk shows, they separately represent elite and popular, specialization and civilians forms. In this paper, from public sphere theory and social function of mass communication theory reveal the functional differences of two programs by position, conversation topic, guests and talk forms and explore the reasons. On this basis, I hope this research can provide a reference for the sustainable development of such programs.
