This thesis discusses software development of running and maintaining management system of Shanghai Subway Company. With ongoing improvement of subway running workload and requirement of reliability, the former management system needs not only adjustment from the management practice view, but also importing more comprehensive and powerful informational technology support. This operation management information system is developed exactly to meet the above management demand.The thesis discusses this subway running and maintaining management software system from its demand analysis, design and programming implementation. First, it describes the software’s developing background, necessary theoretical and technical foundations. In demand analysis, it analyzes and discusses the software’s overall developing targets and main function requirements. The system’s main functions include operation plan management, operation execution management and operation distribution resource demand calculating. In software design part, it mainly describes the software’s architecture design scenario, database design and main modules’ transaction processing flows. In software implementation part, it discusses the system’s developing tool, main programming and testing situation. In the end, it summarizes the system development and some areas needed more improvementThis system is developed with J2EE framework techniques and Java programming language and Oracle database platform. The software system has been in its initial practice status. It apparently improves the business efficiency and coordinates with the company’s business operation management well.
