TV wall is a big TV screen which was composed by several display units, and it’s a huge image and graphic display system, which can show kinds of input signal. At present, it’s the best way to show and advertise dynamic image, which has already been widely used in the monitoring center, the dispatch center, command center, as well as meeting rooms and exhibition hall of government agencies and enterprises.Because different splicing unit can form different types of TV wall, use liquid crystal display (LCD) to splice liquid crystal TV wall system not only a good solution to solve the problem of large size display, also good for transportation, assembly and maintenance. But the LCD TV wall display system also has the problems of blue screen, scintillation when switching, and low contrast ratio problems. In addition, the gap caused by the picture splice will also affect the overall view effect.Firstly, for the problems of TV wall signal, blue screen, scintillation when switching. Simulate to adopt channel buffer technology and research from hardware design and long-distance control design of LCD TV wall seamless switching control system. When change the signal, stop the current screen, after the success of signal connection, then close the original picture window and show the new window. Although use this way will appear short time picture stop, the blue screen and flashing problems will be solved, so as to improve the user experience of TV wall signal display.Secondly, for the low contrast ratio problem, will adopt the regional dynamic backlight control method to convert the image from RGB color space to YUV color space, and pick up the average and maximum value of image grayscale to define the backlight value of partition, and to improve the overall brightness of the image by compensating later. By this way, it can improve the dynamic contrast ratio of image and strengthen the display effect of pictures. Meanwhile, it will also greatly reduce the LCD work power.Thirdly, for the picture splicing gap problem of LCD TV wall, will adopt Edge fusion device syncretize the picture in the region of the edge, so that the splicing gap disappear, wholely display come true, improve the TV wall display effect.The test results of this study show that this dynamic area backlight control system can effectively enhance the contrast of the display screen, at the same time has a good energy saving effect. The same time, through the seamless splicing and switching control system can eliminate picture gap, also can avoid the blue screen and flickering within signal switching process.
