A Online Baby Products Selling System Based On MVC

Currently, e-commerce is developing and flourishing at home and abroad, and online sales is the most representative application direction. Compared with the traditional-sale’s pattern, online sales has broken through its limitations and not been restricted by space and time, so that online sales can quickly and easily transmit a huge amount of commodity information and greatly improve the efficiency of the purchase. As well as online sales has brought enormous business opportunities for merchandising enterprises. Essentially, online sales system is a typical Web application system. Aiming at problems existed in the development of traditional Web application system, this paper performed reasonable layer and modular design for the structure of Web application system based on the advanced MVC design ideas. So the system has a clear process and easy to extend and maintain.For online baby products selling system, this paper has achieved the entire process of the development of Web application system based on MVC design pattern. The system requirements are analyzed with UML modeling technology and fully understand the system functional and non-functional requirements. When carrying on the system design, the functional structure of the system is designed and the whole construction of the system is establish from the perspective of the MVC design pattern. The system database is designed completely according to the theory of database design and optimized on the basis of normalization theory. When achieving the system, using the Struts framework structure based on J2EE specification, the system is divided into five layers according for the MVC design pattern:presentation layer, control layer, business logic layer, data access object layer and data layer. And a concrete realization of system module has been completed on the basis of the five layers. The separation between the presentation view and business logic is implemented by applying the MVC design pattern, so improving the flexibility and manageability of systems development and maintenance.
