Design And Implementation Of Postal E-Business System Based On Struts Framework

Struts is currently a very popular MVC-based Web application framework, which satisfies the J2EE standard. Since it has the advantages that clear in page level and convinient in nevigation, Struts can achieve rapid development,flexible configuration,higher reliability, scalability and modules reusability.This paper designs and realizes a Struts-based E-Business system based on the background of current status of China postal e-commerce development and practical postal business needs.This papers first introduces J2EE and MVC design pattern, and then analyzes the characteristics and advantages of Struts. Finally,we take order design as example,discuss the building process of View, Model and Controller of Struts.Our E-Business system consists of two parts: e-commerce platform and business sub-modular system. We have realized the building of e-commerce platform and sub-module including personalized stamps,ancient-cup culture website(an online shopping website),personal accounts, personal mail and news publishing system. The system development environment is JDK1.6, Struts1.2.9;server container is Tomcat6.0 and development tools are Eclipse and Dreamweaver.
