Obtain first-hand basis data is the basis of field monitoring of the cold and arid regions related research work, to study environment, climate change and natural disasters to provide data support. The real-time monitoring of permafrost can obtain permafrost parameters change information, provide data support for the further research on permafrost, for the frozen soil characteristic information research work is of great significance.For field monitoring more monitoring point and more surface area, the particularity of geographical environment, wiring method was adopted to realize more difficult, this paper puts forward a distributed monitoring system based on Android platform to real-time monitor the wild environment change information.In view of the special application field environment, this article is based on the Android platform, apply wireless sensor network technology and different sensing terminal equipment implement automatic monitoring of environmental information in the monitored area, and promptly report to remote monitoring center and realize the remote monitoring system for the monitoring area, greatly reduce the difficult of wild environment monitoring, reduce the complexity of the system. How to implement the underlying on Android information platform of wireless sensor network to the remote server network communication is this system important to solve the problem.In this paper, the implementation of field distributed monitoring system sub-center based on Android, designs the overall structure of the whole distributed monitoring system, introduces the basic function and constitute of monitoring area and the remote monitoring center; Analysis of the Android platform as the sub-center of distributed monitoring system, as a bridge role in network communication system, the realization of the underlying wireless sensor network bluetooth serial port communication, and use their own rich network resources to achieve the net, solve the network protocol conversion and data transparent transmission system. At the same time realize own management on the sub-center, including time synchronization protocol based on NTP was adopted to realize the network time unification, data parsing, visual interface display and local XML file store. Remote reporting adopt the reliable transmission mode based on TCP, file uploading to communicate with remote monitoring center server terminal equipment. After finishing the design conduct the system test, mainly including communication function and sub-center basic performance testing, under different environment simulate outdoor environment to complete the system consistency test, performance test and stability test, record the test results, and make timely correction, improve the adaptability of the system.This system use the way of wireless communication realize transmission of gathering information, the facilities of the whole monitoring system is simple, easy to implement, and has a certain security and stability. Sub-center software developed in Eclipse-android environment, well use of the android platform good open nature and portability, and reduce the development cost and improve the applicability of this system.
