Study On The Role Of Mass Media In The Construction Of Socialistic Culture With Chinese Characteristics

Since the 16 th CPC National Congress, our national culture has witnesses a great development. The main task of cultural construction is to enhance people’s culture level and enrich the cultural life of the people. The reports of the 18 th CPC National Congress puts great emphasis on the importance of culture, and points out that the national culture strength and competitive power is the symbol of national prosperity and rejuvenation. Meanwhile, the reports emphasizes the importance of the media work, and puts forward the strategic task called the construction and development of the modern communication system to improve China’s media communication ability. The development of the media, especially the internet medium which is a representative of the new media, make the information dissemination take on various forms, which has a great impact on our social development.There is a more and more closer tie between the development of media and the construction of our national culture, both promote each other and influence each other.throughout the history of the development of the media, both classical authors on Marxism and Chinese leaders put great emphasis on the development of the traditional media.
