A major problem facing the industrial field control is that the latest research achievements of academic and practical production technology level is not synchronized, theoretical researches are far ahead of the actual applications. The main reason is the lack of actual background support of theory research.Verifying the effective of several kinds of both advanced and mature control strategies in the actual system is a very meaningful topic.This paper took PCS-C type process control device as background for theory and simulation research, it contains three kinds of typical control systems in the industrial control field: the double tank water level control, control of the boiler outlet temperature control and liquid level and temperature coupling system, which has the character of large inertia, time delay and strong coupling respectly. This paper focuses on these three types of objects, studying their advanced control strategies in real-time simulation. Firstly, through the opc technology combining MATLAB and MCGS configuration, built a comprehensive experimental platform for advanced process control system; Then, based on the platform, designed a series of simulation experiments based on the PCS-C type process experimental device, including the mechanism of law and the Combination of model experiments; After that, on the basis of the model, according to the difference characteristics of controlled objects, with Simulink visualization module structures and S-function core embedded as the algorithm design method, designed the advanced control strategy based on fuzzy, neural network, internal model, and model free control algorithm. Then, on the basis of theoretical research, the off-line simulation and on-line control are combined for joint development, which realized the real-time simulation of the three kind of control system, as well as analyzed the causes of the differences in the off-line simulation and real-time simulation effect.The results of the study shows that, the advanced control strategies involved in this paper can solve the three kinds of industrial control problems. Furthermore, the real-time simulation with better control effect further verify the correctness and feasibility of the use of advanced control strategy.
