In recent years, with the rapid economic development, China has entered a new period of building a moderately prosperous society, people’s living standards steadily. With the continuous improvement of living, people in the diet also put forward new demands, not only focus on the diversity of the diet, but also focus on safety, health and fresh eating. In this situation, with fresh meat, eggs, dairy products and other food cold chain, represented the beginning of more to every family, every year the demand increases. At the same time, China’s cold chain development is relatively backward compared with developed countries, whether in the cold chain transport rate is still in the cold chain management have a larger gap. Every year because of incorrect mode of transport and corrosion damage of the large number of fresh products, causing huge economic losses in the food safety but also for the community poses a potential threat.The Internet of Things as an emerging industry in a number of areas have a broad space for development, which has been applied in the field of logistics attention. In recent years, many experts and scholars began to study how about the Internet of Things technology to cold chain logistics in order to improve the management and operation of the level of cold chain logistics, cold chain logistics to enhance the competitiveness of enterprises.In this paper, cold meat fresh food in particular representative example of The Internet of Things technology in cold chain logistics in a study. Cold chain logistics general business processes and organizational structure of cold meat were analyzed to study the current status of cold meat cold chain logistics, found the problems. From three aspects of cold chain logistics needs of government regulators, cold-chain logistics enterprises, and consumers, designed cold chain logistics application layer, the perception layer, three-layer architecture network networking applications, combined with RF technology, sensors technology, GIS, GPS technology and mobile communication technology, and other things related to technology for traceability chain logistics system optimization. And because of high energy consumption characteristics of cold chain logistics, distribution costs at higher stages, the paper chain logistics and distribution costs stages were analyzed and divided into transport costs, loss cost and penalty cost. The Internet of Things techniques utilizing GIS technology to build refrigerated distribution route optimization model and uses genetic algorithms to optimize the distribution path.I hope that through this research, can promote The Internet of Things technology in cold chain logistics industry, improve operational efficiency and management level of China’s cold chain logistics, and provide reference for government regulators, cold-chain logistics enterprises and consumers.
