In recent years, with the development of wireless technology and the changing of edcatinonal demanding and resources, the wireless broadband access has become an important part of national education institutions, colleges or the department network construction. Wireless campus network has become an important way of enhancing environment, improving the utilization rate of education resources, and increasing the flexibility.Taking the WLAN building in Hebei People’s Armed College as the background, the thesis makes a designing and implementation towards the wireless controller combining FIT AP architecture wireless campus network system. Firstly, starting from the construction of the campus WLAN, the thesis makes an illustration of the basic knowledge of wireless LAN, wireless LAN key technology, and makes an comparion of the pros and cons of the two mainstream way. Secondly, considering the the actual situation of People’s Armed College of wireless campus network construction, starting from requirements analysis, the thesis does a complete illustration of the adjudgement process work. Finally, being based on the system procession and the problems encountered in the process of engieerring construction, the thesis will bring about its own views on the wireless campus network performance optimization, signal coverage, installation, lightning protection, and the prevention and elimination of outdoor AP wireless signal interference, and prove the correctness of views by using his own views and combining the practical operation. So the thesis provides a more meaningful reference case for the construction enterprises, units, or other schools.
