Children’s safety education has always been a key problem of the society, and traditional security education are mainly through books, multimedia, safety drills,etc.These ways of education are dull and boring for the children. With the continuous development of virtual reality technology, we can make the children learn knowledge in the education games which are made by using the virtual reality technology. This can improve the learning efficiency and learning interest of children. At present, there have been some education games based on Flash and Virtools, but the games lack authenticity and the interactivity are poor. As the Unity engine appeared, its complete engine function, efficient development process and life like picture have great advantages in the development of education games. This dissertation will discuss the key technology of the Unity engine and develop a children safety education game. The idiographic work is as follows:(1)For the disadvantages of the traditional water shader based on illumination model, this dissertation puts forward a improvement project of the water shader based on the illumination model of Blinn-Phong. First of all, I’ll increase the edge of computing by the way of creating attenuation values to enhance the Fresnel reflection. And then I’ll achieve the effect of fluctuations by vertex transformation based on sine wave. The experimental results show that the effect of the improved water shader is superior to the traditional water shader based on light model. And it can work well in the children’s safety education game.(2)For the problem that the dynamic game objects and the static scene can’t fuse well by using the Dual Lightmaps in Unity3 D, I’ll use Light Probes and optimize the layout mode to make light and shadow vividly in the game.(3)Using the particle system in Unity3 D to construct the fire, smoke and fountain effects. Using the physics engine to realize the traffic accident collision and the objects of earthquake shaking effect. Using NGUI plugin to make the game UI. Combing the Mecanim System to complete the functions of character animation broadcast, switch, etc.(4)On the basis of above, I’ll design and implement a fully functional children safety education game.
