The Design And Implement Of Sales Management Information System For Mobile Terminals

As the key to translating enterprise services into revenue, sales play a crucial role for enterprises in market competition. With the continuous development of enterprises, the number of company’s salesmen gradually increases. The fact that salesmen are scattered in wide regions leads to a series of problems, including unregulated staff, untimely business application approval, untimely policy changes, inconvenient sales feedback. However, the rapid development of new mobile and wireless technology makes it possible to solve these problems.In this thesis, all aspects of sales management of an enterprise are carefully studied and analyzed in accordance with its function to determine the detailed requirements, to design a sales management information system for mobile terminals. The system consists of two parts:one is sales managing mobile clients APP; the other is sales management background Web client application software. Mobile client APP works on mobile phones or other mobile terminals of Android platform for the salesmen to use, to conduct business activities, such as sales activity management and location tracking, order management, service management, information management, and other functions. WEB client is working on a Windows platform for the person in charge, chairman, regional manager, information specialists, administrator to use, thus serving different purposes depending on their different roles.Mobile client uses the Android platform, and Web client is based on ASP.net platform development according to MVC programming model. MVC separates process control and business logic from the user interface without modifying the business logic, with a view to improving and customizing the interface and user interaction. At the same time, using mobile terminals to visit Baidu map interface can obtain the current location coordinates and achieve sale personnel tracking. Communication between the server and the client by Web Service uses XML data format achieves service-oriented architecture (SOA), making single application functionality separated from each other. Android clients use Kosoap2 to call the Web Service and finally achieve flexible information exchange between Android client and the server. Through the sale of mobile client management APP, businessmen could upload feedback anywhere, understand the business policy to change the situation. Likewise, the management uses the Web client to supervise operational staff, review operational activities for the application, view orders, understand sales, in order to adjust the sales program.The usage of the mobile management information system show that sales management information system for mobile terminals improves sales management modernization, strengthens supervision of operational staff in real time, improves the quality and efficiency, and gains recognition from sales staff and management. A period of trial use shows that mobile management information system has become a new and important platform, through which enterprises could establish confidence of transplanting more management information system to the mobile platform from the development of this project.
