The Research And Design Of SDU Online Course Management System

In the 21 century, with the rapid development of the Internet, the campus network and the local network have been widely used in the university, and the informationization technologies have gradually gone into the campus. More and more electronic hardware device and the intelligent management have been adopted by the university. However, the management methods and the development of hardware equipment, do not change the situation of the limited resources. Face-to-face teaching method still is the main way that students learn the course. In addition, sharing the courseware, the teaching plan and the teaching outline is inconvenient when the class end. How to make full use of the abundant network, improve the management of course resources, and find a fast and convenient way for students to acquire knowledge, is the main point of this research.This research develops the function of network course resources management compared to the traditional course management system. The system can not only realize the automation management for teaching courses, but also has the function as follows: the downloaded network course sharing, courseware resource sharing, online examination and so on. The course management system in this research mainly includes the login management, course management, online course management, BBS management, online examination, personnel information management.This topic is based on B/S model and J2EE architecture, designing a software which is matching to the hardware faculties of college. The system combines the Structs framework of MVC and related technologies. The integral design of the system is designed by the process of choosing classes as well as teachers and students interaction way. According to the process and data processing of each module, we use the none flow management design pattern to design the related data flow module and use the flow management design pattern to design the transaction processing module. At the same time, the system USES object-oriented technology, to achieve the high cohesion and low coupling design goal, so as to make the system with good expansibility and maintainability.This paper expounds the related theory and technical foundation, realizes the university online course management system. This paper first introduces the research background of this project, the present situation at home and abroad, as well as trends of future development and the main problem. Then, the paper introduces requirements which is from the analysis about the process of choosing class in perspective of teachers, students and administrator, the network teaching models, and the related technology and frame structure. According to the demand, we start from the overall architecture, first designing the overall function, then designing the implementation details based on each module and process.University network curriculum system based on J2EE technology, it has simple operation, stable running. It can improve the utilization rate of school of curriculum resources, by sharing teaching resources, improve teaching efficiency. At the same time, the system provides the online test function, can let students learned information timely detection, and plenty of network course resources is a new way to learn for students.
