In recent years, due to the use of power electronic devices, the harmonic content of distribution network is increasing, the reliability of operation of electrical equipment and power systems can be threated. Therefore, the accurate analysis of harmonic distortion for the distribution network and take appropriate control measures has become an important task.Master the harmonic situation is the premise of optimizing filter configuration for distribution network.In this paper, combine the characteristics of the distribution network and basic harmonic theory, studied the harmonic equivalent model of each element and the equivalent parameters in power system, analyzed current source model, and use the fundamental and harmonic current decoupling algorithm, then the distribution network harmonic parameters were calculated.Construction a fast harmonic current calculation method based on CSR storage, so the harmonic flow calculation can meet the needs of large-scale power grid, improve the processing speed. Analysis and calculate the harmonic in power distribution network.PSO is simple and easy.PSO has the defects of easy to fall into local optimum, and lack variability. This article has been improved for its shortcomings and get an efficient hybrid particle swarm optimization algorithm.Based on the filter structure and harmonic flow data,make the voltage harmonic distortion and total harmonic distortion of each node as a constraint condition, and ensure the safe operation of filter, then the total investment as the objective function. Use the Hybrid PSO to optimize the position and parameters of the filter,determine the algorithm flow, and write the program of filter optimization in MATLAB.Finally, analyze the classic example with the MATLAB program, obtain the optimal solution,analyze the change of filter harmonic distortion before and after, compare the features of hybrid particle swarm optimization algorithm and particle swarm optimization,prove that the algorithm and filter optimal allocation model are correct and feasible.
