A Preliminary Study Of Jilin Transportation Industry Backbone Network Interconnection Construction

In recent years, the transportation industry information work in Jilin Province has made great achievements, the application of information technology in all areas of basic coverage of transportation construction, production, management and services, a number of standards, advanced technology, and practical information systems are various business departments at all levels comprehensive application. However, the level of business network development in Jilin transportation industry has seriously hampered the development of information technology. The province is currently in the preparatory stages of the construction industry backbone network, the network is only coupled to the interior ministries of the provincial office Transport Authority and Provincial Highway Administration, as well as through leased lines are coupled to a total of three Provincial Highway Administration Office subordinate units. Local and Provincial Maritime Bureau, the Provincial Highway Administration Authority majority Subordinate units and city (prefecture) and county (city, district) levels Transportation Authority did not achieve interoperability, network coverage and bandwidth are unable to meet the industry’s information management requirements. Therefore, to carry out the construction of backbone network transport sector research is crucial in Jilin and necessary.In this paper, based on the ministries of information centers and units directly under the Office of the whole business and communication networks Survey analysis, combing through the situation to determine the direction and content of research studies, in order to peer backbone connections, architecture and design aspects studied. Through the domestic transportation industry mainstream transmission technology in detail to understand,formed the backbone of the whole idea of transportation and communication of information network construction,and proposed a new combination of OTN network SDH leased lines and expansion of the existing trunk leased lines combine two networking solutions, through networking solutions detailed than two studies demonstrated the feasibility of the two integrated networking solutions. By studying the relevant content, we will be more effective to strengthen and standardize the construction of Jilin unified backbone network traffic information, management, provide a scientific basis for the transportation industry in Jilin Province backbone network construction, to avoid duplication. Jilin Province transportation industry backbone network construction is completed, will have basic coverage province’s transportation administrative departments at all levels, high-bandwidth, high-speed, easy-to-unified monitoring, management and maintenance, communications transmission platform with high scalability, used to support the province’s transportation industry, all types of voice, video, real-time transmission and sharing of data exchange.
