Design And Implementation Of Satellite TV Player Base On Android

With the rapid development of digital technology, there is an increasing demand of the intelligent entertainment electronics. Driven by the great market demand, Satellite TV, as one of the most important family audio visual products, is becoming more and more intelligent. The Android system is the most popular intelligent embedded system, and its rich application environment just to meet the public demand for intelligent devices. But at present, the support for TV terminal is imperfect on the Android system, and does not have a generic protocol for satellite television.Through analyzing the playing principles of digital satellite TV and the design of Android software framework, this dissertation designs and realizes a satellite TV player based on Android platform. Besides some general functions(channel searching, playing on Satellite TV, program management, group management and the electronic program guide), the player is used as the launcher of Android platform, it also provides the entry point for other application which can provide much benefit to design and application and a better human-computer interaction.First, this thesis analyzes the standard of satellite TV and MPEG-2 transport stream multiplex technique in order to understand the basic process of satellite television receiving and the parsing method of key data. This article studies the system structure and application development approach of Android. Second, this article proposes some different kinds of design methods and implementations. Final design scheme is confirmed after comparing their advantages and disadvantages, it also analyses the outlines of implementation. Then the realization of satellite TV player uses module design. Finally, The article takes the form of module testing. The testing results show that the performance of the satellite TV player is normal and suffices the anticipate desire.In this paper, the player has the following innovative characteristics:1, the player has the clear layer, each module uses a unified interface in order to make a good mechanism for encapsulation. Designed on a middleware layer and separate processes make it have a better portability. It can accommodate different platforms and upgrade comfortably.2, this paper propose a method that use the satellite TV player as the Launcher of Android System. It transplants all original necessary functions to the satellite player, so that it can provide a intelligent satellite TV equipment which use satellite TV player as the mainstay and allow user to add massive applications.3, the design of remote input methods makes great progress in operating performance. The player overcomes various inconveniences brought about using a remote device to control TV applications instead of touch-screen operation.
