Nowadays, with the rapid development of the automobile electronic technology, the vehicle-mounted multimedia entertainment information system is also maturing and can realize a variety of functions, such as GPS navigation, media player, radio broadcast and communication, which is more and more to meet the needs of users. Nevertheless, as a result of the constraints to vehicle-mounted mobile terminal, the vehicle-mounted multimedia information system still needs a lot of effort. In view of this, the advanced technology the software system for audio player of Bluetooth is designed to play audio stream by means of the Bluetooth on the basic of the advanced technology. Bluetooth is a cost-effective technology of short-range wireless communication and an open global specification for short-range wireless data and voice communication. While Android announced by Google is the first open source operating system based on Linux platform for the mobile terminal.In this paper, the system structure of Bluetooth core protocol stack and Android application framework are analyzed in view of the Android platform. The related protocols of Bluetooth core protocol stack are compiled into the Bluetooth framework module of Android to receive the audio stream of Bluetooth. On the other hand, the Open Core multimedia framework based on Android is analyzed to achieve the corresponding decoding and playing of audio. At the same time, during the design and research, the process model like the playback control state is embedded to design and research for grasping the state mechanism of playing more profitably, so as to realize the remote playback control of audio.In the application, the connection interaction of communication is achieved via Bluetooth, and then the audio stream data of music from Bluetooth MP3or Bluetooth mobile phone is received, decoded and played by the player with the A2DP protocol. In the meantime, the remote playback control of audio is achieved with the AVRCP protocol. So that the user can operate the remote device on the platform of the music player to complete the functions:play, pause, fast-forward, rewind and so on. The extended research of the audio player’s functions is used to not only achieve the various advantages and abundant charm of Android but also make the system closer to the needs of vehicle-mounted equipment, which makes the vehicle-mounted multimedia information system more user-friendly and convenient.
