In recent years, most researches between Tibetan culture and the mass media are studied on a macro scale. The author, compared with other researchers, as a candidate of the backbone in minority Menba, is very familiar with the lifestyle since living in a Tibet village for a long-term with sharing the common cultural background, so that it is superior for the author to observe and analyze how the media has influence on the way of residents’life in Tibet township from a unique perspective. Therefore, Tibet township, the main body of social and economic development in the future Tibet, is chosen as the research target by the ways of the questionnaire survey, in-depth interviews and observation research methods. Through on-the-spot investigation in Kazi Village and Jinda Town, the factors influencing Tibetan villages and towns of the people lifestyle are analyzed, aiming to make deeper thinking to the development of Tibetan culture and seek the way for the development of Tibetan culture.With the development of the society and the rising of people living standard, the usage of mass media in Tibetan villages and towns has greatly changed with the new situation, TV still as the main media, paper-based media in the slow development, however, the usage of new media has been quite developing in the daily life in Tibet, producing a brand effect on the lifestyle in Tibet villages and towns.This thesis is mainly divided into four parts:the first part is the introduction, providing us with research background, current researches, the research methods and research significance, as well as explaining the definitions of "mass media" and "lifestyle"; the second part is the overview of Kazi Village and Jinda Town, analyzing their social situation, economy and infrastructure construction of culture, as the foundation of the specific analysis in the latter two parts; the third part is to expound the development of mass media in Kazi Village and Jinda Town in details, based on the methods of questionnaire survey and the interview; the last part, combined with present situation of media development between Kazi and Jinda, it is stated how mass media is influential to the people’s lifestyle in Tibet villages and towns from perspectives of leisure lifestyle, patterns of family life, traditional cultural heritage and daily interactions...
