One of the more representative research topic today is that wireless communication technology is introduced into the monitoring area.It combines the multi-discipline knowledge and a number of high-tech in one, brought together the computer, communications, electronics, sensors, control technology and artificial intelligence a plurality of cutting-edge technology disciplines. The dam safety information transmission system is an important part of the system, it e play an extremely important role in prevention and reduction of natural disasters, and scheduling of water resources science. So establish a stable and reliable wireless network in the dam safety information transmission system used in wireless communication technologies. The project adopts ZigBee technology features and advantages, design and implementation of ZigBee wireless network based information delivery system for dam safety.This article is based on the actual needs of the basic theory and dam safety information transmission system wireless network, it gives the overall design of the system, and it design and analyzes the hardware and software of the system. In order to grasp the dam running state, we can remote monitoring dam data information. The main contents are as follows.(1) The overall design dam safety information transmission systemAccording to the function information transmission system of dam safety requirements, I have analysised of the performance of the system, and then designed the overall structure of dam safety information transfer systems, what’s more,I have analyzed the performance of the system, characteristics and advantages combining with the monitoring system components.(2) Hardware design of dam safety information transmission systemThe hardware design of the ZigBee module of terminal nodes and gateway including the design of the circuit principle diagram of terminal and gateway, and the production of circuit boards. It requires that the underlying implementation ZigBee wireless network communication. Gateway module increased peripheral circuit of the integrated design, such as increasing the GPRS communication module, power supply module, which is integrated into the gateway. So it implements communications between the gateway and monitoring center.(3) Dam safety information transfer system software design and results analysisUse monitoring software VC++6.0 development monitoring center, in order to achieve the requirements of the system and improve the efficiency of the transmission system, the software features include dam safety information received in real time and, if required data updates can send instructions to meet at the site Staff needs to update data for the dam. The system software also can dam information processing, such as storing data and issue warnings. The experimental results prove that the system can be used in dam safety information transmission system to achieve the task design.Finally concludes the paper analyzes the system advantages, but raised prospects.
