Research On Present Situation, Trend And Publishing Unit’s Coping Strategy Of Booklist Of "Rural Library Project"

Since the development of "Rural Library Project", original General Administration of Press and Publication (GAPP), State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television (SAPPRET) organize and select the recommended directories of major publications irregularly, which provide basic protection for sustainable development of all regions. In recent years, with the powerful support from financial departments at all levels, "Rural Library Project" has already realized the goal of complete coverage in 2012. To meet the requirement of book equipment and seize the rural market, an increasing number of publishers take part in the publishing and publish planning of "Three Rural Book" during this process. However, after entering the stage of fully renewal, great changes have taken place in thoughts of administrations of press and publication at different levels on rural library’s construction, and the changing rural circumstances of society and economy profoundly affect local reading needs in content and form. Therefore, publishers not merely adjust their thinking in respect of topic design and application strategy, but also focus on related adjustment on working ideas of administrations at all levels.This article is divided into four parts, part one is about the thesis’s research background, meaning, method and innovation; part two analyzes the current situation of rural library’s booklists of major publications from 2009 to 2014; Phoenix Science Press’s books are chosen into TOP 10 of the project’s total booklist varieties, so we take them as research object in part three, and go to intensive study in publish planning, declared catalogue, election and issuance; in the last section, combining with the rural library’s changeable tendency, we offer some suggestions in directions of publish planning and declared catalogue for publishers.
