Mobile internet, Networking and cloud computing technology to lay the material foundation for the development of large data, and stimulates the development of Big Data Era. The big data technology to be just unfolding, The rapid progress of Big Data technology has built strong connection between Big Data strategy and national strategy for each country, also brought enormous impacts on civilization and human activities. This article analyses and summarizes the features of Big Data technology;investigate the influences of Big Data on human cognition(includes scientific methodology, natural perception and etc) and social ethics. The investigation of Big Data technology development reveals that Big Data technology is a new productivity with four features: the nonlinear data structure, the social nature of data attributes, the efficient data technology and the transformative data-driven thinking. This article discusses how Big Data influences human cognition; as cognitive object or cognitive methods, Big Data affects scientific methodology in profound ways. Firstly, Big Data technology produces large amount of data as new forms of cognitive objects for scientific studies. Secondly, Big Data technology and scientific methods has created a new research paradigm, which conducts data mining and data correlation analysis instead of exams causality. However, this article also indicates that the new paradigm is the supplement of traditional scientific methods rather than the replacement of them. The paper states that Big Data technology transforms “all is number” concept into new forms for contemporary development; numbers are the basis of modern mathematics, mainly for the sets theory, discrete mathematics, etc., and "countable" means the existing algorithm can be calculated, measured and programmed; “Computer Mind” is becoming an important way of human thinking.Further more, the paper discusses Big Data technology impacts on social ethics especially on dehumanization and privacy issues, provides the dialectical materialist view on those issues, and offers people-oriented solutions to technology and humanity problem.
