| 3D Printing is also called Rapid Prototyping Technology. The manufacturing process of3Dprinting doesn’t need any machining or mould, the printer can read the data from the3D model inthe computer directly. It shortens the product development period, reduces the production cost andincreases productivity.This thesis developed one personal desktop3D printer with fused deposition modelingtheory. The work includes mechanical structure design, controlling circuit building, controllingsoftware selection and optimization of the printing precision.Analyzing the mainstream3D printers based on the FDM modeling process, make acomparison between the different structure type. Finding out the structure optimization plan forthe better printing precision. Making3D modeling through the Solidworks, refer to the simulationresults to double check the feasibility and reliability. After the components selection, complete theassembly of prototype printer.Assembling the circuit control unit with prototype printer structure. Uploading the firmwareto control motherboard, in order to make it capable to control other electronic units directly,including step motor, nozzle hot end, temperature measurement and data transmission.Analyzing the main influence factors of printing precision through a series of printing tests,including hardware influence and software influence. Cold fan and hot bed are the main points inhardware. Changing the settings of slice software is the quickest way to increase the printingprecision, it also can solve lots of printing problems. |
