With the rapid development of the population and increasingly serious environmentalissues, the precision agriculture gradually becomes the hotspot of theoretical research andpractice. In the help of the fast growth of information technology, merging the originalinformation technology, biotechnology and mechanical technology the precision agriculturerealizes agricultural production of precision, standardization and customization. Inagricultural production, precision agriculture applications are the foundation of precisionagriculture. By the summary, analysis and data mining of agricultural information, theapplications offer decision support for agricultural production. Precision agriculturemanagement system and field information collection devices are directly connected with eachother so as to provide the basis for planning and decision-making of agricultural production,which plays a role as a bridge in the production process of precision agriculture. Precisionagriculture knowledge management system has a very important role in precision agricultureapplications. In the process of achieving precision agriculture and field precision management,it is necessary to efficiently share agricultural knowledge and agricultural information data.With the assistance of the modern database technology and data mining technology,convenient and accurate services of agricultural knowledge service, such as agriculturalplanting, pest control, accurate fertilization, could be provided for industrial workers.In this paper, with the precision agriculture knowledge management system as the objectof study, describes the demand analysis, system design, and the whole process ofimplementation. First, it elaborates the concept of precision agriculture system, introduces keytechnologies, such as SOA technology, data sharing technology, system integrationtechnology and WCF communication platforms, proposes solutions to the precisionagriculture knowledge management system based on SOA and applies the softwaredevelopment philosophy of service-oriented to the precision agriculture knowledgemanagement system so that the system possesses better compatibility and scalabilityarchitecture in architecture. Built on the use of SOA technology, the needs of precisionagriculture knowledge management system are analyzed. In this paper, the system is designedoverall and in detail, based on SOA. A top-down and from-whole-to-part system designproject is applied in the project design, and the overall structure of the system, network structure and business layer services are designed at length. According to the conclusion ofdemand analysis and detailed design of the precision agriculture knowledge managementsystems, the system encoding is implemented. Finally, the test methods and test process of thesystem are briefly introduced and the accuracy and reliability of the system gets a relativelyfull verification by a three-step: unit test, integration test and acceptance test so as toeffectively guarantee the quality of the system development.
