Information Management System Of Offical Vehicles

The Government Vehicle Information Management System (GVIMS) is theinformation management solution sought by the government vehicle administrationunit for the administrative reformation of the government vehicle management underthe new situation. The system provides an overall management of the purchase, useand dispose of the vehicles for each government department, forming a highlyefficient, stringent and unified management process, while the whole life cycle ofeach government vehicle can be supervised and controlled.In this thesis, the requirement analysis of the GVIMS is presented for thedetermination of the system aim and the technical framework in the context of thedevelopment and application of the system implemented during the work. Thefunctional requirements of the system is captured with the UML use case model.While taking the service-oriented architecture (SOA) as the design principle of thesystem architecture, each module of the system is designed in further detail byapplying the object-oriented paradigm. The whole functional GVIMS is implementedwith the SqlServer database using the structure of B/S.The system offers the common login and the login with password protection. Itprovides a one-stop multi-level approval process, including the approval process ofvehicle purchase, vehicle data change, vehicle disposal, etc. The full range of thevehicle management functions, like the allocation management, the usagemanagement and the regulatory management, are implemented. The function ofannouncement across the entire network and the notification delivery though eachlevel is achieved. The system administrator can easily manage organizations, users,warning parameters and system log. And the system offers statistical analysis with thenecessary data of vehicle information, character of use, vehicle type, funding source,etc.With the help of the GVIMS, the paperless administration and the one-stopservice of the government vehicle management are finally achieved, the managementprocess is simplified, which makes the vehicle application submission of thegovernment department and the approval response of the administration unit moreconvenient. This solution can further be deployed in various provinces and cities torealize the full information management of the government vehicles in each place.
