| Accounting Information Systems (AIS) in a part of Companies have not mettheir business requirements any more with the development of accounting theory andinformation technology. Firstly, the traditional Client/Server model is inferior to theBrowser/Server model. Secondly, the efficiency and the accuracy of computers’dealing information make accounting work more real-time and more comprehensive.Designing an AIS has got rid of the bound of old manual accounting. When thesystem integrated, the financial information can be generated automatically,real-timely and precisely. Lastly, the accounting information system need to transferfrom calculating-type to controlling-type, in order to increase the level of anenterprise’s management.As a result, system upgrading stimulated by business and technology is on theschedule of the companies’ information building. This issue is based on the abovedemands. We need to reform the old system to B/S architecture, using the frame andthe realization of system integration, such as Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) andWeb Service. A website of this type will correspond the trend of today’s webapplication. Moreover, the system not only defers from its predecessors in thearchitecture, but also has more functions than the old systems. Designed on the ideasof real-time and automation, the system connects the business stream to theinformation stream, so once an operation was established, the system will generatefinancial information immediately. Budget, as a meant of beforehand controlling,reduces operational risks and increase business efficiency with flow approval, whichis a meant of in-process control. The AIS synthetically uses the two managementmethods.Building a system on above demands provides a prototype to other modules’rebuilding and updating, and more over our works instruct the IT technology’spractices in financial domain. This kind of system will be a product of financialtheory and IT technology, which makes this issue a exploration in this area. |
