Design And Implementation Of Online Voting System Based On ASP.NET

With the advent of information technology and the knowledge economy era, onlyrelying on the original manual operation people cannot effectively manage a large amountof data in the modern voting process, resulting in a waste of human and material resources.And the accuracy and timeliness of the process cannot get guaranteed. Thus achieving anautomated online voting system becomes particularly necessary to improve votingmanagement.This system is based on browser/server mode, selecting ASP.NET and SQL Server2005as the developing environment, through the combination of ASP and SQL databasesto be achieved. According to the software engineering development process, first weanalyze the system’s requests and use UML object-oriented modeling to design the overallstructure and establish multiple page modules including four kinds of permissionhierarchies. Meanwhile, according to the function module, we find the E-R relationship ofthe database, propose dynamic table and static table and code to achieve, focusing onvoting and skin upload function. At last, we test the system’s performance. To preventbrushing votes, the system provides verification code restrictions, IP restrictions and logininterface restriction. It also uses a lot of AJAX technology to ensure a good userexperience.Using ASP.NET Master Pages technology we reduce code redundancy and improvethe efficiency of development.
