With the rapid development of economy and society in China, the livingstandards of people have been improved. The public health has been enhanced aswell. The country can prevent and control kinds of diseases through manydifferent ways, so that the physical condition of people in China has beenimproved compared with several decades ago. Immunization planning becomesmature gradually. The incidence of infectious diseases has been decreased andcontrollable. However, the public health and immune are facing opportunities andchallenges with the rapid development of information technology at present. Sincethe high population, various kinds of vaccine, the immunization is quite hard inChina. The management and planning of immunization have difficulties. As aresult, the information management of immunization is extremely urgent. Thepaper focuses on analysis and designing an advanced system which is suitable forTianjin province. The system will achieve kinds of functions, such as themanagement of vaccinated people, vaccination, cold-chain and work-in-processproduct. The core purpose is to innovate the manner of working, improve accuracyand efficiency, manage and plan the immunization as well.In the paper, we introduced the research background, purpose, researchcontents and the principle. The paper reviewed the research status, compared thedomestic system with that in abroad. It is obvious that the domestic immunizationstill remain in the semi-manual operation stage. There is still a certain gap.Secondly, the paper elaborated the basic knowledge of software engineering, suchas the choice of development tools, software development mode, database, C/Sand B/S mode. In the requirement analysis, the paper introduced organizationstructure of Immune planning agency and the general working flow, analyzed theclient-side requirement and municipal platform requirement as well. Finally, thepaper designed the structure of the whole system, as well as the system interface,the E-R model, relational model and data dictionary. Furthermore, the detail ofevery function module including vaccination appointment and registration, thebasic or important information record and database manipulation is designed.
