As a backbone industry of a country, the status of steel and iron industry isirreplaceable. The traditional algorithm which relies on handwork for analyzing smeltingeffects in the ironmaking process shows that its method is cumbersome and complex. Thecalculators need to spend a lot of time and energy on computation. However, we can notensure the accuracy of calculations.In view of the problems above, it is necessary for us to make full use of VC++which is mature and mature to develop a computing software for ironmaking process.Firstly, we analyze the ironmaking process and the present situation both at home andabroad. At the same time, we also compare some algorithms with other algorithms. Thenwe have a preliminary understanding on the content of the software development.Secondly, we determine the practical feasibility of the software development at the basisof analyzing feasibility of software development and discussing demand of the software.Thirdly, we summarize core and goal of general design. The structure and flow chart ofthe software are also built by us. At the same time, we divide the software into modules.So there is a clear thought in our brain. Finally, we use the VC++which is very popularat present as the platform of software development. Our goal is to develop a kind ofsoftware which owns many functions, such as the input, query, addition, modification,and deletion. Then we can use the software to operate original data variously. At thesame time, the software can also own an ability by which we can view calculationsconveniently. We can complete general calculations of processes about blast furnace andCorex. The effect which is from oxidation degree of gas, metallization ratio andcomposition of gas’s oxidation degree and metallization ratio to Corex process can alsobe known by the software. The software can also help us compute the best fuel ratio.Then, we have a friendly and fully-functional interface which can be operated simply.Now, we achieve the ultimate goal which is to build a software with a friendly interface,speedy computation and accurate calculations.We hope the software for computation of ironmaking process can provide ironworkers with effective reference. The software can save time for computation andimprove accuracy of computation. At the same time, the iron workers can operate thefurnace more accurate, improve production efficiency and reduce the cost of production.According to the words above, we can do something for the steel and iron industry of ourcountry with the software.
