Drug safety is an important issue that closely related to people’s health, whichrepresents the most practical benefit for the mass. However, with an un-optimisticprospect, the drug safety accidents are barely inevitable, especially in recent years. Themajor causes of this situation are the unsound drug anti-counterfeiting mechanism.Meanwhile, the outdated information collecting and sharing methods from drugproduction and sales lead to the backwardness of finding flaws. RFID is an efficient,accurate information collection technology, known as one of the most promisingapplication of technology in the21st century, is mainly used in transportation management,logistics management, industrial automation, and other fields, and have achieved goodeffect. The applications that based on RFID technology, not only inherits its efficient,accurate information collection capabilities, but also accelerated the collected real-timesharing of information, has a great potential for development in recent years, becoming ahot topic.Aimed at the above situation and based on the RFID technology, this thesis carriesout the research integrated with the present drug production, storage, logistics andmarketing measures, then puts forward an implementation scheme for the druganti-counterfeiting and source-tracing comprehensive application system on the basis ofthe RFID. From the beginning, the thesis introduces the current actuality of the drugindustry and the related background of the RFID technology, comes up with the view ofapplying the RFID technology to the drug industry, analyses the theories, advantages andapplication status, and illustrates the feasibility and necessity of applying the RFIDtechnology to the drug industry. Secondly, this thesis carries out the overall frameworkdesign for the RFID based drug anti-counterfeiting and source-tracing comprehensiveapplication system, including the systematic and functional structures of the system.Aimed at the sophisticated static logical relationships, it further researches the systematicstatistic process through the E-R graph and designs a database which meets the needs ofthe system.As a result, the designed scheme is carried out through the method of thesoftware engineering development.Solved the problems of information collecting andsharing of the traditional mode.The implemented system, not only can increase the production efficiency in theproduction section, lower the error rate of storage and logistics aspects, enhanced security capabilities of the drugs, but also to improve information sharing, improve thecompetitiveness of the pharmaceutical companies.
