With the growing prosperity of domestic cosmetics market, there have always been lots of counterfeit products, channel chaos, adverse reflection and illegal use of additives, which badly affected the high value-added cosmetics products market and resulted in increasing number of consumer complaints. Therefore,trying to strengthen the quality control and traceability process of cosmetics is now becoming a press issue. Taking advantage of the IOT public service technology and RFID technology with powerful data carrier and acquisition capabilities, it is significant to design a supervision and anti-counterfeiting traceability system for cosmetics.With current status of cosmetics market and the special nature of cosmetic products, researches in this paper mainly focus on the following three aspects. Firstly, we design the supervision code that could uniquely identifies each cosmetic entity including material, mixture and all levels of packaged end products, and also design a effective anti-counterfeiting code. Using the supervision code, we establish the relationship between all these cosmetics entities, based which we could achieve deep traceability. Secondly, we design the data model of all nodes in the supply chain and also design the business model of quality traceability, product supervision, channel regulation and determination of authenticity of the system. Thirdly, we focus on the performance of RFID tags in special environment. Benefit from the experiences of drug regulation system and tobacco traceability system, and based on the RFID public service platform, we develop the supervision and anti-counterfeiting traceability system for cosmetics. This paper first analyzes current status of cosmetic supervision and traceability, and introduces the supervision and traceability system of drug and tobacco. Then we study the RFID public service platform of Shanghai Jiao Tong University and set our research goal. After that, we design the architecture, data model, business model of the supervision and anti-counterfeiting traceability system in detail, and then describe the concrete implementation of the various parts of the system and make a demonstration of system running. At the end of this paper, we summarize the entire paper, look forward to the prospect of supervision and anti-counterfeiting traceability system for cosmetics and propose some future work.
