Design For The Intelligent Thermostat Based On WIFI Communication

In recent year, with housing area expanded and requirement for the continuous improvement of the quality of life, hanging and splitting air condition can’t meet the needs of cooling or heating many rooms at the same time. And the indoor air quality is not satisfactory. Based on these limitations, emerge as the times require household central air conditioning system in a small. Small family of central control system should be adjusted with the air quality. It can adjust not only the indoor temperature, but also regulating humidity, ventilation and maintaining indoor air quality. With the continuous progress of science and technology, the Internet of things technology began to spread to all areas of our lives. It is possible for the wisdom of the future of the earth. If the computer or mobile phone with WIFI and internet function can be used to control the small home central air-conditioning system, it will improve intelligent of the thermostat.This paper designs an intelligent temperature control system. The system connects the WIFI intelligent thermostat, indoor and outdoor controller together, by the internal RS485bus. And it can achieve better the interaction of data information between these devices, with RS485communication. The WIFI intelligent thermostat provides the users one remote monitor interface. Wherever the internet can be touched, the users can access the network to operate the WIFI intelligent thermostat in home. Within the system, the WIFI thermostat is a master device for the RS485bus. It is responsible for collecting data information for all devices on the RS485bus, and sending the control command to the equipments connected to the RS485bus. The system uses a dot matrix liquid crystal display to provide high resolution as the system’s interface. In this way, the users can operate the WIFI thermostat in home, by the WIFI technology. The LCD dot matrix display will provide the users with a friendly man-machine interface to set. The WIFI intelligent thermostat provides the users with a flexible temperature programming mode. The users can set not only the permanent temperature value, but also multiday temperature values by the WIFI thermostat. The intelligent temperature control system can meet all the technical requests, by the function testing. And it can pass IEEE test, EFT test, Conduct and Radiate test, and meets the request of EMC.
