As humans gradually enter highly information-oriented society, for any socialorganization, how to build an efficient and scientific organizational communicationsystem is the crucial foundation to ensure its organizational information to beefficiently delivered both internally and externally for any social organizations. Thispaper is to discuss and analyse the various factors, in this Internet era, influencing theorganizational communication of Liaoning Branch of Xinhua News Agency and thebarriers it is facing as well as the solutions to them using organizationalcommunication theories. The paper is divided into five major sections: the firstsection will be mainly introducing the background and the meaning of the thesis, thestate of related study, the method and perspectives, the paper will be using as well asthe difficulties, emphasis and innovation points. In the second section, the basicconcepts of organizations and organizational communications will be introduced. Thethird section will be analysing the concepts of organizational structure and will befocusing on the history and how organizational structure is set up in Liaoning Branchof Xinhua News Agency. The fourth section, which is the main section, will take themost typical example, formal communication and informal communication, which inaccordance with the nature various organizational communication methods andcompare them by using Liaoning Branch of Xinhua News Agency as an example.More specifically, the content, media, features and functions of each type ofcommunication will be compared. Last but not least, the fifth section will continue onthe result of the fourth section, to analyse the barriers and problems that are affectingthe communication effectiveness of Liaoning Branch of Xinhua News Agency. Inaddition, constructive and feasible solutions will be proposed.By comparing the various factors of formal and informal communication of theLiaoning branch of Xinhua News Agency, problems of the Liaoning branch in atypical rational organizational frame will be discussed. Due to a hierarchical structure,information dissemination channels are not smooth and humane considerations are lacking. As a result, lack of direct interaction of organizational communication,education, feedback and other practical issues are elicited. Therefore, the articlemainly uses case studies and comparative study to analyse the structure,characteristics and functionality of organizational communication of Liaoning Branchof Xinhua News Agency. By presenting the barriers and effects objectively, the articlewill tentatively put forward organizational communication optimization strategies,namely the establishment of branch institutionalized organizational communicationmechanism, aimed at advocating humane consideration of information disseminationand diversification. By changing the hierarchical organizational structure of theLiaoning branch, its organizational structure flexibility will be improved. Besides, itis worthy to note that the personality of members of the organization is also the keyfor the organizational communication optimization.
