The Status Of Intercultural Communication Studies Of Mindu

The city of Fuzhou, also known as Mindu, the capital of Min Country, has a history of2000years. As a famous historical and cultural city, she has great significance of historyand tradition. In the long course of history, people in Fuzhou have been migrating to other countries. Meanwhile, the culture of Mindu also struck roots in Taiwan, Southeast Asia, Japan and United States, etc. Intercultural communications has diversifiedindigenous cultures, and promoted the fusion of cultures, and eliminated the clashestriggered by the differences of cultures. As a consequence, this has enhanced culturalexchanges between homeland and foreign countries, and additionally contributed to thedevelopment of local economies and the harmony of society. Thus, the author wants toexplore current intercultural communication of Mindu, and analyzes the impact ofmedia to find the advantages and disadvantages, in order to further promote theintercultural communication of Mindu.
