CDN, Content Delivery Network, caching the contents that users frequently access by deploying many cache servers at the edge of the Internet, and it also applies some scheduling policies to redirect user access to the nearest cache nodes. In these ways, users can access the nearest cache nodes to obtain the content, which enhances UE effectively, and also avoid network congestion. As the tri-networks integration has been into the substantive development stage, coupled with the advent of the era of4G, it marks the new era of the development of mobile Internet, which will also promote CDN technology into a new wave of development. This paper begins from the composition of CDN system to study the key technology of CDN systems, which includes content distribution technology, content caching and load balance techniques. Secondly, it analyzes China Unicom’s demands of CDN system regarding to the whole system framework, network architecture, and functions, which are based on their own needs of building CDN system. And focus on the functional requirements analysis and investigation of the content distribution layer capabilities and requirements of each part, such as content management, injection, distribution, and storage location, further into the details of the Unicom CDN load balancing system scheduling mechanism. Then, a CDN system scheme is designed on the base of two open source softwares, Bind and Squid. Bind is used to construct global load balance system based on DNS redirection, Squid is used to implement content caching system based on working in the way of Sibling to Sibling. Finally, at the end of the article, we present the networking mode and the environment configuration of the CDN system we design, and analyze the test data at the same time.
