Research And Accomplishment Of Injection And Publish Of Media Resources For Interactive Digital Television

As the development of network, multimedia, communications and hardware storage technology, people are increasing with the demands for information and entertainment. They are no longer satisfied with the single, passive access to information, but participating in actively,VOD(Video on Demand) comes into being.VOD is an interactive service that average home users can always use their familiar television to view a wealth of movies, television dramas, cultural programs, news and other entertainment and informations on the Internet any times.As the rapidly growing of broadband users and traffic, single player server is far from meeting the online demands. Furthermore, since more dispersed user,farther distance and limited bandwidth, how to determine the location and number of servers,how to design the server group's network structure and how to choose the best server for user's request ensuring the service quality have become the complex and urgent problems.One solution to above problems is using CDN (Content Delivery Network) technology in the VOD system. Based on the analysis of VOD system of the radio and television, combining existing research of CDN and VOD technology,this paper is proposed an ISA-based,interactive digital television video-on-demand media data ingesting and publishing system implementation for large networks.This thesis is constructed as follows:Chapter 1 has a brief introduction of the project research background, project source, project content and the structure of this paper.Chapter 2 introducts the details of the concept,development status,characteristics and realization principle of VOD and CDN, and CORBA technology for network communication.Chapter 3 researches and analyzes the technologies and algorithms of VOD system using CDN technology and designs the system model.It presents highlightly the algorithms and strategies of content distribution and content routing first,and makes a simple analysis and comparison with them at last.Chapter 4 presents the implementation of VOD media data ingesting and publishing system.It is divided into following aspects: system frame design, system business processes, system communication interface design, media pretreatment and information distribution system design.By the analysis and research of content routing and distribution of CDN in VOD system in chapter 3, this chapter presents the media information content routing and content distribution algorithm of this system.Chapter 5 makes a summary and outlook on the main idea and meaning of this article, and make a prospect of the further research.
