Design And Realization Of Smart Home System Based On Rule Engine

In recent years, with the rapid development of Internet of Things, the concept of smart home attracts the attention of market and relevant products are accepted by consumers. At present, most smart home systems are built on specific requirements, preducts which are designed for general living environment are only a few. For the average home users, customized smart home system has issues such as inflexible configuration of business rules, difficulty of devices management and poor user experience.To ravel out the above-mentioned problem, the thesis presents the design and implementation of the smart home system based on rule engine. Compared with other systems, the system separates business rules and program code and provides the capacity of flexible configuration of business rules by using rules engine technology, optimizes service access mechanism and improves the capacity of WoT service access by using dynamic service access component, provides system abilities to applications and improves the usability and openness by using RESTful Web API.First of all, the thesis has done through going and painstaking research on relevant technologies, the research mainly consists of common smart home systems, rule engine, dynamic service access and Web of Things. Secondly, by combining the rule engine and dynamic service access mechanism, the thesis designs the smart home system. The smart home system includes a rule engine for smart home, dynamic access service component based on AllJoyn protocol and smart home application open interfaces. Then, it presents the implementation of main function modules in detail. Finally, the thesis presents the system deployment and validates the system capacities of dynamic service access and flexible configuration of business rules through practical cases.
