Design And Implement Of Smart Home Service Front-end System Based On The Service Context And Pattern

Since the21st century, the society developed faster and faster. People’s livingstandard improves continually. The traditional home facilities, such as TV, air-condition,washing machine, fridge and light, provide us lots of convenience. But sometimes, thiskind of intelligent control is not enough, we need to move one more step. So the conceptof smart home appears. Many companies and research institutions study on this, andinvent a lot of productions which make the control of home facilities more intelligent.But these productions are developed on the basis of some certain facilities and functions,lack of a whole analysis towards the elements in home, So their intelligence is limited.The context-aware techniques developed quickly, and the context reasoning is alsowidely researched. However, these researches focus on the home domain less.So in this paper, we first analyze the current research of smart home, compare thedifferent kinds of context models and introduce some related products. The paperdescribes the whole structure of smart home and functions of front-end system and pointsout the direction of system design and development.Then we define a context model of smart home, classify the context element anddescribe the context and context requirement with tuple and ontology models. Wepropose the definition of rule between context and context requirement of smart home,and design a set of rational home rules.With the model, we design an algorithm based on the rules for context reasoning.By analyzing the context data, the algorithm can find out the current context requirementexisting in home environment. At last, we analyze the architecture of the front-end system of smart home, thendesign and implement a smart home service front-end system. It can manage the facilitiesand sensors at home, and also provide some service applications, such as videocommunication, safe inspect, users and facilities location, and so on.
