The rapid development of Internet and other information technologies have broughthuge influences to the residential living. Demands of living environment is no longer justsimple physical space, but more pursuit for convenience, security and comfort. Smarthome came into being and became hot in the industrial and academic fields. A lot ofsmart products and research results of the related methods and techniques appeared.However, the current frameworks, technical approaches, and points most focus onthe intelligent identification, tracking and management of smart devices using internet ofthings technology, interoperability between intelligent facilities, systems and platforms,the human-computer interaction techniques of control systems and home network, etc.,rarely involve design and construction approaches of the smart home service system.Therefore, this paper studies the construction method of systems in the smart home fieldfrom this perspective. Comes up with a smart home service system construction methodbased on “Service Pattern”, which finds service patterns frequent used from the historicalrecords and stores into the pattern library, when face new demands, through combinationof service patterns and resources binding can build a satisfied service system.This paper comes up with the concept of Service Pattern based on the businessrequirements and features of smart home. Gives a formalized definition of service patternand analyzes its basic properties.Emphasizes the discovery mechanism based on the basic concepts. Finding servicepatterns from the historical service records can be abstracted as the frequent subgraphmining problem of data mining field. And taking into consideration that service pattern isof rich semantics, we propose to combine clustering statistics method, thus, get a servicepattern finding method which takes use of both the frequent subgraph mining andclustering statistics. Then gives the algorithm design, and analyzes the performance ofthis algorithm according to the simulation experiment.By studying the service composition methods, the non-functional QoS attributes ofservice and resources binding technologies, we propose a composition method of servicepattern which takes high coverage, low redundancy and low overlap as target. Anddiscuss how to bind service resource according to the QoS attributes of servicecomponent.At last, applied the methods and techniques this paper studies, design and develop aservice patterns manage system, and give a few examples of service pattern by analyzingthe business requirements and process of the health service and purchase service of smarthome, further develop the health service system and purchase system. Prove the proposedtheoretical approaches are correct and effective.
