Since the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People’s Republic of China (MIIT) issued fourth-generation mobile telephone licences on December4,2013, the Telecoms Operators have obtained certain result on expanding user scale and improving4G network construction. By the end of October2014, China mobile has built570000TD-LTE base stations, and reached50million users of4G network. It’s expected to reach150million users by2015. To compete for4G users whose concern are about the high speed transmission and stability of the4G network, provide better experience of network coverage has become a top priority for Operators, especially of the indoor coverage where70%business generating there. As a part of CATV cable based TD-LTE multi-input multi-output (MIMO) frequency conversion system, this paper studied the key technologies of4G indoor coverage. Design and test of the frequency conversion module which is the core of the MIMO system was detailed discussed. The module includes five units, local oscillator unit, mixing unit, power unit, filter unit and control unit. This paper also gave comprehensive analysis of monitoring scheme of indoor coverage data node. The network topology and the detailed function analysis and software implementation process were given. Finally, joint tests of monitoring software and hardware system, and uploading and downloading tasks tests were made. The test results proved that the scheme worked well in indoor coverage.
