In recent years, with monochromatic, coherence, directionality excellent features, Laser has a wide range of applicationssuch as in many fields such as military, aerospace, industrial and environment. Laser ranging and imaging system research as one of most hot spot and difficult technology, especially has important application in national defense and military industry. The Joint Project of BUPT and CASIC, based on the theory and experiment of laser-ranging, is making the research and design of the semiconductor laser scanning3D imaging technology.We carry out the research and design after the deep analysis for the significance and the requirement, combined with the development of laser imaging characteristics both at home and abroad.The paper bases on the laser theory and includes:research the classification of the laser, laser imaging technology, principle of the laser radar, laser ranging principle, laser scanning imaging techniques. Webuild the hardware platform using pulse laser as the laser source, using a laser pulse ranging principle, adopts the direct detection of single pixel distance, combined with2D orthogonal galvanometer built semiconductor laser3D scanning imaging system. In the overall designing of semiconductor laser3D imaging system, we explorer further analysis of the laser signal source, the laser signal receiving unit, a laser scanning unit and image signal control system respectively. In the designing of Laser3D scanning imaging system software, we make the advantage of the Open GL3D data display and control, time measurement control system, the two-dimensional orthogonal galvanometer and the board control, database platform building and design.The key technologies in system design, firstly, we adoptdelay circuit design to eliminate clutter echo, by measuring the window effectively eliminate echo have triggered by mistake; Secondly, in the designing of hardware synchronization, ensure the coordination of three parts including echo detection,laser, scanning galvanometer, and finally complete the range data acquisition; thirdly, in the process of system time delay, because of the begin-signal and end-signal are received by two different photoelectric detection system, the time difference can be eliminated by measurement deviation in advance.
