Design And Implement Of MAC Layer In LTE-A Terminal Test SET

As an evolution of LTE system, LTE-A system will be widely used in the future, and its related industry is booming. As an important part of LTE-A industry chain, LTE-A comprehensive test instrument plays an important role in the research and development of LTE-A terminal. Therefore, researches about testing technologies of LTE-A terminal and development of high-quality LTE-A terminal test set is of great significance for the fourth generation mobile communication industry in our country.The protocal stack software of the Data Link Layer (Layer2) is the core software of the LTE-A terminal test set. MAC layer, which is an important part of Iayer2, has complex functions. The research and solution of this paper is the implementation of MAC layer in LTE-A terminal test set. This paper proposes the LTE-A MAC design for a terminal test set and implements it through practice from the perspective of software engineering design in combination with the network protocol of LTE-A.This thesis mainly introduces the author’s achievements in the research and development of the MAC layer of LTE-A system. The main contents of this paper list as follows:Studied the adoptive technology of LTE/LTE-A, hardware and software architecture of LTE-A terminal test set, and the design requirement of L2protocol stack software of LTE-A system.Researched the MAC layer of3GPP (Release10), analyzed its structure and function modules, and designed the internal module of MAC layer.Completed the design and implementation of MAC layer in terminal test set and the internal verification of each module.The achievements of this paper have been applied to the commercial version of LTE-A terminal test set and can provide testing solutions for LTE-A terminals.
