Research On Application Of Positioning Technology Based On Wifi

Technology based on WIFI positioning which can resolve the GPS positioning problemof outdoor positioning effectively, and it is a new technology in the fieldof indoor positioning. With the rapid development of indoor positioning in recent years, it hasbeen widely used in medical industry, security industry and tourism industry.This paper start with discussing the indoor positioning technology, indoor positioningalgorithm, indoor positioning correction algorithm and the indoor positioning seamlessswitching technology.At first, analysis mainstream of indoor positioning technology, comparethe characteristics of these techniques, and then choice the WIFI technology as theindoor positioning technology.In indoor positioning algorithm section, analysis the trianglealgorithm, fingerprint algorithms and scene analysis positioning algorithm, such asprecision, velocity, advantages and disadvantages and so on, then choice the triangle algorithmas main positioning algorithm.Consider of the changing of RSSI values at any time, discussof Gauss filter, Bias filter and Calman filter from the way of RSSI values filter in the dataacquisition stage. According to algorithm, raising second rectification algorithm from thedistance and direction of two dimensions to improve the positioning accuracy. Finally, in orderto expand the application scope, it takes control of GPS positioning module and WIFIpositioning module, and proposed a seamless switching strategy of indoor and outdoor toimprove devices’ working life.On the base of the working above, designing a software of indoor and outdoor based onWIFI. Then analysis the structure of the software, use of triangle algorithm and secondrectification algorithm, combine with the technology of indoor and outdoor seamlessswitch technology, finally realize the indoor positioning software.
