According to the development requirements of the Trunkliner project, and the combination of real situation in the assembly of advanced regional jet, as well as the analysis of the process of design, assembly and coordination between nose and typical large parts in forward fuselage in a large aircraft project, this paper aims to conduct a research on methods, technology, engineering analysis and process of design, assembly, coordination and tolerance of large components of large passenger aircraft under the3D(three-dimensional) digital circumstance, meanwhile providing detail of the application and development in real-time measurement by using computer aided technology (3DCS) with CAA design and development.The rigid flexible coupling assembly of a plane is extremely complex. The accuracy of assembly coordination has a direct effect on shape, size matching performance of a whole plane and flight safety as well as structure fatigue life. With the increasing demand of high quality of plane from commercial market, the requirements of higher precision of measurement and quality has risen. Although various kinds of measurement methods and instrument with high precision and large range has emerged, large work-piece itself requirements and environmental constraints result in a variety of problems during the process of real measurement and quality control.For this arduous task, our R&D project team has carried out pre-research and key technology development. Base on the collection of big and complex data during the continuous production practice and relevant theories and technology of system design and development, we have carried out business needs analysis, system requirements analysis, system function; system macro design, system architecture design (network structure, hardware and software environment), system model design (system modules, system process design), system detailed design; database design, user interface design, function module design and system process, system implementation, system testing, monitoring. Simultaneously, the utilization of monitoring function of3DCS auxiliary software achieves the real-time measurement of the precision of large work-piece precision, hence ensuring the production assembly precision to meet the design requirements. As a result, the production performance, the reliability and the strength of a whole plane have been improved greatly to contribute to a more safety aircraft in business operation in real world.
