Study Of Tolerance Analysis Method And Application Based On3DCS

In recent years, whether in domestic or overseas academic research, it is a popular and widely appreciated technology to use computer to project size and tolerance design of mechanical products. Size and tolerance design of products not only influence the quality but also play a significant role in determining the cost of manufacture. Tolerance design includes tolerance analysis and tolerance synthesis. The former serving as the core element of accuracy control is always the hot spot of the study of accuracy control. Tolerance analysis is a key link of product design which focuses on products’ manufacturing and assembling. Measuring the tolerance of products not only plays an important role in lowering the cost and enhancing the quality of products, but also shortens the development cycle by discovering and solving the potential problems during the process of tolerance and assembly design before the prototype test.From the point of dimensional management, the thesis proposes a new3dimensional tolerance analysis method in which is more systematic and accurate. With3DCS (three-dimensional control system), we can analyze the products whose model have been built, deal with the results and make an appropriate adjustments to make the assembly more reasonable. The major work is as follows:(1) The previous work in CAT field is surveyed, the advantage and disadvantages of those former study are concluded and a tolerance analysis method with3DCS.(2) From the view of ensuring the accuracy of the assembly, Analysis the framework of dimensional management, the processes of the dimensional management, and the important role of the tolerance design in dimension management.(3) Described the main content of the GD&T drawings and its Principle. Do study about the formulation of DTS, RPS and the tolerance allocation method.(4) The research of the3DCS modeling and tolerance analysis method. Take the operations of3DCS Move and Measure for tolerance modeling and tolerance analysis. (5) Take the fender and doors as an example for tolerance analysis, and deal with the result.
